This privacy notice serves to inform you about how we handle the personal data collected, processed and stored through our website. It applies to the website of Yasser Tours.

Generally, the Egyptian Data Protection Law No. 151 (PDF) serves as the legal basis for this privacy notice.

For citizenz of EU member states, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) additionally.

For Swiss citizens the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies additionally.

We assume no responsibility for the data protection regulation compliance of other websites linked on ours.

We may adapt this privacy policy from time to time to organizational or technical changes and new legal requirements.

2. Website

Our website can be visited without providing personal data.

In general, the following data is collected and transmitted when using the website, depending on the browser used and its settings: date and time of access, source/reference if applicable, from which page you access our website, browser used, operating system used, language information, size of the browser window, IP address used.

This data is stored in log files by our hoster and deleted after three months.

3. Contact by email

On our website, users can personally contact us via email by using the email address provided. In this case, the sender’s personal data (name, email address) transmitted along with the email message are stored.

    In addition, further data commonly used for email messages are transmitted and stored, such as:

    • Subject
    • Message content and email attachments
    • Sender’s IP address
    • Hostname of the mail server
    • Hostnames of the relaying servers
    • Date and time of submission
    • Email application used

    The data is used to process the conversation. It will be deleted no later than 5 years after the purpose for which it was collected has been achieved.

    You can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. If you contact us by e-mail, you can object to the storage of your personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. All data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case.

    4. Disclosure of data to third parties

    We may pass on your personal data collected via our website or sent to us by e-mail to third parties in order to fulfill our tasks or contracts.

    Those are:

    • our hosting provider and webmaster in Switzerland: for log files, analytics data and emails

    4.1. Unencrypted emails

    Due to the open nature of the email service, it cannot be ruled out that data transmitted by email are viewed by third parties, in particular when emails are unencrypted.

    If you are a data subject as contemplated by the GDPR (EU), you have various rights in relation to the controller (right to information, right to rectification, right to restriction of processing, right to erasure, right to notification, right to data portability, right to object, right to withdraw consent, right to lodge a complaint).
